Halotherapy
What is Halotherapy?

In our salt room, a halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt and disperses the particles into the air. Halotherapy benefits may include improvement in respiratory health, skin benefits, and mental wellness. Salt therapy may benefit those with respiratory and skin conditions, as well as with anxiety, depression, and athletic recovery. It may alleviate symptoms of allergies, asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, eczema, psoriasis, and more.

What can I expect during Halotherapy?
During salt room sessions you can expect to lie in a zero-gravity recliner with relaxing music playing. The room will be dimly lit. Our sessions are group sessions, so you can expect up to 9 other people to be in the salt room with you. The air will be salty. Salt particles may get on your skin and clothing. You may cough, as the salt particles assist in expelling phlegm. We ask for no talking in the salt room. This is a meditative, reflective space. We have small lockers for your personal belongings. You will be asked to leave your electronic devices and shoes outside of the treatment room.

What should I wear?

Wear loose comfortable clothes you can relax in. If you want to maximize the benefits of salt therapy for your skin, consider wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. The more skin exposed, the more opportunities for the salt particles to come in contact with your skin. You will be asked to remove your shoes, you may want to bring a pair of socks to wear if that makes you more comfortable. Salt particles will land on your clothes and may be visible when your session is complete.

Do I bring anything?

You do not need to bring anything. A blanket will be provided. Items you might want to bring to make yourself comfortable might include ear plugs, an eye mask, your personal small blanket, and/or a bottle of water with a lid that seals. Only water bottles with lids on them may go in the salt room.
